  Reflection on Religion

Religion is the voice of human experience
Of wonder which springs from the soul
Who can separate their beliefs from their action?
Say this is for my body and not for my whole?

Dawn to dawn hear the voice of freedom
Where harmless pleasures are pursued
He who defines conduct by ethics imprisons
Religion does not censure or exclude

From many questions divisions taught
Now clear as heaven from where it came
In beams of love a truth shines through
Which surpasses even the brightest flame?

The face of love in children at play
In the rising sun in descending showers
Hear loves voice in leaves of trees
LOVE smiling there among the flowers
