Beauty
Beauty is truth and goodness;
The glory of the heavens at dawn
The blending of colours at sunset
The majesty of the Mountains of Mourne!
Moonlight’s silver glitter on a silent lake
The sweet song of the mocking bird
And exquisite patterns in a snow flake
The rustle of wind in the trees
The holiness of all the saints
The wisdom of sages’ lyrics of poet’s,
And the creations an artist paints
The fragrance of summer roses,
Mother’s soft kisses and clasp of a friends hand
The magic of music that lifts the soul
And stories of great souls to understand
A dimly lit cathedral to make ones spirits soar
That makes my heart stand still in reverence
As God’s Love passes through the door!
