  Tears

Walked a mile with pleasure
Shed tears of joy like summer rain
Walked with memories of bygone years
Flings its shadow across my path of pain
That blinded my eyes with tears

Yet like a summer breeze that passes by
Magically like warm breath on a flower
Gradually the tears began to dry
Like seeing sunshine through a shower
A brightened smile with tears together!
