  Comforting Love

Oh, for the comfort of your loving arms
The feel of your soft soothing kisses
That brings warmth and reassuring light
And levels of comfort my body misses

Whispering soft words of love to me
Our bodies warming in every part
Watching moonbeams shimmer and glow
And charm us with her wondrous art

And as the evening shadows fall
So rapt we are in each others love
Unlocking all our pent up passion
As we lie beneath the stars above.

True love burns desire’s pure flame
To higher nature is the soul a part
But it’s the pulse of our earthly frame,
That renders the language of the heart.

Within your arms your love envelops me
Our lips meet our tongues entwine.
My heart beats at a faster pace -
Our bodies come to know love divine.

Is this not what true love is we have together?
These precious moments we share and see
When we cherish every bit of simple pleasure
For they are all our beautiful history...
