Moonlight by the Sea
The dark blue sea stretches in liquid light
How inspiring it seems to me
As white cap waves in torrent rapture
Come dashing on the shore with glee!
Water flows, the pale moon rose
To the ocean’s melody
Glittering on every crested wave
Moonlight becomes a rhapsody
The breeze blesses the tides of time
Wherever peace needs to be,
For life needs a place to rest
On this fair land by the sea!
