  Loves Flame

In the evening twilight flush
Loves heated passions burn
In a tangle of fiery tongues
Inflames desire for which we yearn

Lips meet in a fevered rush
Sweetly sliding to and fro
Building the embers into flame
That between we two will grow

Words can't fix or seal the holes
Of a hunger it wants to feed
For the flame within can't be denied
Not through a muted plea of need

A hungry heart is plain to see.
Without deception or disguise
One desire of two combined
I drown in his deep blue eyes

Feeling fervour that just won't fade
Joined together in a tight embrace
We dance to loves rhythm made
And move as one with liquid grace

Moving our bodies in harmony
And locked in passion as we were
I couldn't tell the you from me
My sense of time began to blur.

Wildly each other we consume
Bringer of love mixed with the light.
Tenderly you bring my spirit back
Exploding colour in the night

Kisses at dawn awake me
To show me how I thrive
Bathe me again in words of love
Just watch me come alive
